Stamp-check, return address-check, seal-check

The Hallmark lady snuck some seals in my bag. I usually refuse them, mainly because I forget to use them. As I got some cards ready to mail, I found the seals. I almost threw them away but then decided to put them on all my mail- letters and bills!!! I hope they bring a smile with them!!!

Pictures from April 7th

 Kaitlin had a wedding to do on April 7 so we celebrated my birthday day at a wedding.  Kaitlin set up my camera and took three pictures of us.  Don't you love Robert's silly face?

We had a great time at the wedding.  The folks couldn't have been nicer, the bride and her wedding party loved and wanted to have their pictures made plus Kaitlin, Bri and I had a laughing good time.

It was a great day!

I took Marisa some Chickfila last week.  After she ate, it was time to feed this fellow.  I love this picture.  He is milk drunk.  What a picture of contentment.  He thinks every fellow is as blest as he is.

For my birthday I got an Ipad.  I was thrilled but overwhelmed.  I am not that technologically savvy but I know I need to expand that area of my brain.  All my tech support was at work and I wanted to download a book and I thought, any idiot can do this right?!? HA!

I wanted to pick a book I could read again and again.  I found John Piper's book on marriage and thought to myself  'that's it'!  So I went through the steps to download my new 27.00 book.  After a few minutes everything was complete.  How exciting!  I touched the screen to begin the book and ....It started talking to me....what ????? who is talking to me??? then I realized... I downloaded an audio book.  That took some real genius!! I was stunned!!

 I think I shall wait til my tech support is home before I try another book.

One good thing is I usually don't make the same mistake twice so stay tuned for new ways I have done interesting things on my Ipad.  

Eggs

 A few Saturday nights ago we dyed Easter eggs. Darrell and Clare joined us this year!

Before we dyed eggs, we-this is the collective we, Carl really grilled the burgers- ate grilled hamburgers and Clare brought dessert.  I forgot to take pictures before the locust came through  we ate.  I think we all enjoyed it all!

Three generations!

Carl was out of town yesterday so he and I went to the hospital today so he could meet and love on our new baby!   I even let him hold the baby for a few minutes!

I can't get enough of the sweet sugar from his cheeks.  I think he loves it!

What a Happy Birthmonth treat!

 Atticus was born this morning a little after 9.  He weighed 9.6 and is 22 inches long.  The new family is doing great.  I am trying not to be 'that' grandmother that posts pictures all the time but I can't guarantee anything.  I kissed his fat checks and told him how much I loved him.  Enjoy the wonderful work of Kaitlin's photography.
