October 1st was a wonderful day here!! We started the day at the gym and then home to bake. Last year I bought a TON of pumpkin because the year before there was the lack of pumpkin and I didn't want to not have enough! I had enough!! We used all my pumpkin save one can.

| my friend, Cheryl, made my AUBURN apron- my orange for the day- and my friend, Katy, gave me the apron that is from Africa- which is fitting for Sandy to wear, she was a missionary to Africa for many years. |

| my new toy! Whoppie Pie maker! John and Marisa gave it to me for last Christmas and I finally got it out and now I am kicking my self for waiting this long. I am ready to do a commercial for the product. It is wonderful!! I see lots of whoppie pies in my future! |

here is Sandy putting the whoopie pies together.
We made pumpkin gooey butter cake, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pound cake, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin whoopie pies, and pumpkin muffins. Do you see the pattern here??
Sandy plans to bring her mixer when we do our Christmas baking, imagine what we could do with TWO mixers!
Kaitlin and I didn't eat supper. We were full.
Today I hope to share the pumpkin all around. I have the nicest bank teller and I think she may enjoy some! |
