AUBURN, family, and Mr Wonderful

 What do Saturdays look like in your house?  Here is what has been going on with us.  A water table now lives at my house and it was a big hit!!!  Atticus was soaking wet and had a laughing good time.

 Above Atticus is looking at Aunt Fairest and wondering why in the world she has that on her head?!?  Below- Atticus has a new word "Cheeeeeese"  He then likes looking at his picture.  This Bubbles doesn't mind that at all.

 Above was a two TV football day.

 Mr Wonderful needed/wanted something out of my purse.  Who could deny him anything???? Not me.  When he found the chap stick, I thought he wouldn't be able to get the top off, silly me!!!!!  Please notice that the chap stick goes on his tongue and it must really be chapped!  Now, that is his chap stick!!

I love our Saturdays during football season.  Family is such a gift.

Saying Hello and Goodbye

September 8 was a big party day here at the Funroes!  Kaitlin, Bri and Jill fixed lots of yummy food and we ate and ate and ate and watched football.  Robert brought Rachel home for us to visit with too.  I was still in my post surgery la la land so I just have a few pictures, I am amazed that I have any!!  

Jill fixed chocolate chip cookies and she used avocado in place of the butter.  They were great. I kept telling folks that she used guacamole!!!  Jill would just smile and say "She means avocado." Oh, well. 

This is Mississippi sin dip- not sure what's in it but it was yummy!

Sweet Jill was a great addition to our family.  I will claim her as a daughter any time!!  She moved in with another family a week ago.  They are in for a wonderful blessing.  We plan to meet once a week for supper and a good visit.  She has a craft day planned over here too.  We miss her very much.

We helped her with few loads and to get settled into her new home.

We wonder who God will move into our house next?!?

It is like a treasure hunt!

My favorite find to date is The College Football Preview dated August 27, 2010. Here are some highlights

AP preseason top 25- alabama, ohio state, boise state, florida, texas, tcu, ok, nebraska, iowa, va tech are the top 10. The SEC schools in the rest of the top 25 are arkansas at 17, lsu at 21, AUBURN at 22 and georgia at 23.

The odds for AUBURN to won the BCS title game were/are 125:1 ohio state were 6:1 and oregon were/are 50:1

Top players in the SEC were Mark Ingram and Dont'a Hightower both for alabama.

The team proposed to win the East was florida and the West-alabama. The game between to two of them was a 'game you shouldn't miss' on October 2nd. The teams that won were south carolina in the East and AUBURN in the West.

Top Heisman prospects were Mark Ingram, Noel Devine, AJ Green, LaMichael James and Case Keenum. No where is Cam Newton's name.

It is interesting how things played out in the season. I love college football and am sad that the season is drawing to a close. We are getting ready to do our bowl pick 'ems. It is just for bragging rights. Reading the old newspaper and seeing what the 'experts' picked let's me know that I know about as much as they do, I knew AUBURN could go this far!
